The UT Psybrain Lab is looking for a research coordinator for our Track TBI research.
The available position is for a research associate that will work on several large research studies of traumatic brain injury at Dell Seton Medical center and the PsyBrain Laboratory in the Department of Psychology on the UT Austin campus.
Under the direction of a Chief Study Coordinator, the employee will work on several large research studies of traumatic brain injury at Dell Seton Medical Center and the PsyBrain Laboratory in the Department of Psychology on the UT Austin campus.
Associate will also schedule and coordinate participant follow-up visits, maintain detailed study documentation, complete data entry in a timely manner, assist with MRI and neuropsychological data collection.
Other responsibilities include coordinating participant blood draws, processing blood specimens, and managing wet lab space.
Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Some previous work conducting human subjects research is desirable. Previous experience in a wet lab is desirable. 2 Year commitment is preferred.
